Our Dad has been telling Mom that Sadie has to stay out of the bed at night. She takes up too much space. Sadie always tries to sneak into their bed in the middle of the night when she thinks no one will notice. Well, last night was no different. Around 3:00 in the morning she tried sneaking into bed, but Mom was awake and she told Sadie "No." When Sadie tried again, Mom said, "Down." I was quietly watching this, but when it became obvious Sadie would not be successful in her endeavors to crawl into the big bed, I just couldn't resist the opportunity to jump up into the big bed myself. I started purring as loud as I could, so Sadie would be sure to notice me. And I walked over Mom to where Sadie was standing and stood right there at her face, so she absolutely could not miss the fact that I was indeed in the big bed and she was not. Then when I turned to curl up next to Mom, I managed to flick Sadie in the head with my tail - just in case she still hadn't noticed that I was in the big bed. And, as an added precaution, I was still purring like a motorboat.
It was a great night. I sure enjoy tormenting Sadie whenever I can. And I kinda like sleeping in the big bed.
More later,
Emmie
