Boy oh boy! I sure never want to do that again. They were cute and all, and I really did kind of miss them when they all went to find homes with their own humans. But on the other hand, I really didn't mind being the prettiest girl in the house and soak up all the attention.
This next part is where things get a little bit confusing. #1 mom had a friend at work, and she adopted one of my babies.
Isn't she just adorable? I think she looks quite a bit like me. They named her Betsy. But Betsy was the smallest puppy of the litter and she had a bad heart murmur. Betsy only made it to 6 months old.
I know Mom #1 loved me to pieces, but she decided that maybe I could go to live with someone else who could spoil me more, and treat me like the royalty I know I am. So, that's where Mom #2 comes into the picture. Turns out Mom #2 is the friend from Mom #1's work - the same person who adopted my baby, Betsy.
So - here's the great part - I live with Mom #2, but I still get to see Mom #1. And I just LOVE when I get to have both of my human Moms paying lots of attention to me. Mom #1 had some human babies after I left, and they love me too. I have to say, I'm a pretty lucky girl.
So, for now - enough about me - although I could just go on and on. Obviously (from the title) you can tell this is a blog about 2 dogs and a cat. I'll tell you more about my memories and adventures another time. I'll turn the next blog over to Sadie. She's kind of a newcomer to my kingdom. And you'll also hear about Emmie. She's a cat. She's OK, for a feline - you just have to give her plenty of space.
And sometimes, you might hear from my mom too. She insisted on putting this quote in our blog.
"My goal in life is to be as good of a person my dog already thinks I am." ~Author Unknown
